What is a place that you call home?
Our movie for the Manaiakalani Film Festival this year was inspired by the learning that we did in class on the New Zealand election.
It focuses on the election issue that stood out to us above all others.
This is our film - “The Place I Call Home”.

ReplyDeleteKia Ora everybody I really liked the movie it was so emotional and it was the saddest part. It tells me how most people don't have enough food and a place to live. This is just like a story because it is emotional. I couldn't imagined that. What was the saddest part that you got to film?
ReplyDeleteHello Ana, we have to say that the saddest part to film for us was when the female character hugged her mum before hopping into the car. This was a reality check for us both because up until now, we had only seen such things on the television. Also, we had to try our best to get into our characters as if it were our own lives. This was very emotional for us because it was incredibly sad so we had to get our minds ready.
DeleteThank you for your comment.
Best regards, Vaka and Mariah.
